THE TEAM IN TRANSITION

THE TEAM IN TRANSITION

March 1, 2015

The importance of  teams and their functionality can’t be overstated.

How rarely, within an organisation, is a goal achieved by the work of one individual.

From the Board, through the CEO, the Executive and staff, it is rare to see a goal kicked by a person acting as a solo.

Having been a CEO for over a decade, I relied heavily on my teams.

The Board were the team responsible for the overarching strategy and direction. The CEO, while charged with the responsibility of delivering on the Strategy, turns to their teams to implement the strategies that will deliver on the goal.

So Teams are critical to the success of our organisations, however they are sometimes overlooked as small clusters of aligned staff members.

When we do see our teams as clusters of people bringing a mix of experience, strengths and energy to a particular project or task, we see their value. We need to bring team members together and communicate, energise, motivate and reward them.

I work with Teams to improve organisational outcomes:

  • Team Coaching
  • Team Coherence
  • Team Resilience
  • Team culture
